Engines dismantled? Please post a photo.
You asked ‘many people’?? I got all four in the frame, but only in a head-on shot, not a nice formation side-view as hoped and doubt if you did?
Not with a 400 prime I didn’t, but I’d rather celebrate what I saw than gripe.

That was my only gripe – yes they were in the air together but at no time did they formate together. It was RE.8 & Albatros followed by Bristol Fighter and SE-5A. I suspect Shuttleworth pilots are not allowed close-formating with non-Shuttleworth pilots?
The Albatros was flown by a Shuttleworth pilot. Many people didn’t seem to need a close formation to get all four in the frame.

Maybe they took an early upgrade to Apple Maps?

Adrian, there have been three previous events in this format. It’s possibly the best display format on the airshow circuit and it always goes down well with the people that attend thanks to the efforts of the engineers, staff, pilots and volunteers who pull all the stops out to make this a very special day.
Here’s a slideshow of the first few photos I’ve processed.

Alex, for starters you can pick up the Aerographics Blackburn Monoplane kit on ebay for a few quid (I’ll admit to owning a few unbuilt kits). If you’re not put off by scratchbuilding I’ve got a pdf of the 1911 volume of Flight with plans for the Boxkite. I dare say there are few few other plans in there too (I’ve got 1909 to 1919 on disc) I think the Antoinette’s in there. I’ve also got a book with Curtiss and Bleriot plans (Hayward 1912), you can view it here http://archive.org/stream/buildingandflyi00haywgoog#page/n6/mode/2up. There are also some decent flying kits for the Deperdussin (rotary rather than anzani), Antoinette and Demoiselle made by SIG, I got mine from Sussex Model Centre a few years ago.
