I thought a Snipe was being built in N.Z for the RAFM
And a Harry Tate & Albatros if the rumour mill is correct. Perhaps some of us might mind losing the Hanriot and Farman though?

It was rebuilt at Cosford but it’s now on display in the Grahame-White Factory at Hendon. It’s not been restored to an airworthy condition.

I think the re-enactors add some period flavour to the scene. They take a lot of care in getting the details right and they know their period very well. It’s a bit mean-spirited to have a pop.
Anyway, here are a few photos that I took at Cosford during the restoration so that you can see a little more detail.

But Rob, broken limbs aren’t usually (or otherwise) considered sufficient reason for termination. Shouldn’t there be some obligation to the horse? You can’t race, you can’t live is such an extreme view.

These museum planners must have had parents who wouldn’t allow them to stick drawing pins in their bedroom ceilings and they’re trying to catch up in their middle age by stringing up aeroplanes.

In the good old days, the forum owners used to remove posts referring to Aeroplane Magazine. I think they gave up doing that a while ago.
Wasn’t there an issue with some of the work that had been carried out on the fuselage frame for the Yak 1 that needed remedial work?
