Scott, there’s been plenty of advice in this thread that didn’t seem to have made a great deal of impact. That’s the reason why the responses became less positive. If you’re going to pick up on my post then perhaps in the interest of fairness you’ll address all similar posts rather than climbing on someone else’s bandwagon?

So you’ve confirmed that you have nothing to say about this particular thread. You’ve taken issue with one post that’s no more negative than several others so yes, it does look like a case of bruised ego.

Paul, on that basis you shouldn’t have any difficulty in either responding to all the other similarly negative comments in this thread or providing some constructive feedback to the thread’s originator.

If not, perhaps you were simply airing a bruised ego from a throwaway quip on the Northern Ireland thread?

Yes, plenty of times, but if your mind is closed you’ll probably find fault whilst looking. Have you actually read the material under discussion or the feedback?
