Spot on with the Aussie. As a matter of interest, how did you know it wasn’t VH-UOF ??
Er, I received June’s A*******e magazine ( not sure if one’s allowed to mention it here), on Thursday (and I’m in darkest Fife). Nothing unusual on pp10/11
Thank you, sir, but, with respect, I’ll stick to my single ‘m’, if you don’t mind –
here is a wee potted biography, followed by a rather elegant biplane for your consideration……
By the way, I seem to remember reading somewhere that this thread was supposed to be confined to post-1939 types – we seem to have drifted away from that, but if I am out of order, my apologies !
I think the product is Auto Glym, and there was a SABCA – de Glymes machine, but it was a shoulder-wing job in my book.
Correction – I’ve just found the de Glymes DG-X !
Would that be a Belgian, perhaps ? The Dassy DA2 ?
I told you, it gets worse………
OK – as far as I can see, the only real difference between this and the Aviafrance photo is the need for a good wash…..
Avion Ancien eventually got there first – it is the NC.832, reg F-WDVY.
There is a lot of confusion, and at least three entirely different models were christened ‘Chardonnneret’ (Goldfinch), but then, that’s the French for you……..
Indeed, sir.
French, mid-40’s, non-military, I think.
This beast is of pure bloodstock, sir ! (Could be in the right area, though…..)
Another monoplane, but of a different sort..
Would that be the Martin Monoplane, John ?
Sudden deathly silence………..
