This resulted in increased length and displacement.
The displacement is now two times as large as the F 122 class (Bremen class), which they should replace.
They are still classified as frigates…
The Nimitz class does look different.
Yes, it is far from being a realistic copy and it is also only 2/3 the size. But is only a theme park.

Is that the resting place of the former HMAS Melbourne bought in 1985?
No, this is a concrete copy of a Nimitz class carrier built by a Chinese entertainment company. It is a kind of theme park – similar to the former Russian carriers Kiev and Minsk.
The light cruiser HMS Caroline is still existing – but she is not restored to her World War I appearance:

In Navires & Histoire N°54 is stated, that at least three destroyers are currently in construction.
Two 9000 t destroyers in Dalian, perhaps type 051D
A destroyer in Shanghai, perhaps type 052C or 052D
Does anyone knows more? Has photos?
In the lower row, middle could be HMS Hawkins or HMS Frobisher.
The Japanese armoured cruiser is either Idzumo or Iwate.
Some photos of my Andrea Doria in 1/700:

You can find the photo on my album

under Doria folder.
Thank you 🙂
@ enrr:
Your site about the Andrea Doria class is a very useful reference for modelling!
Do you found photos showing the TESEO launchers?
Unfortunately the links to Andrea Doria’s photos under the title “Photo by Lvb of Doria from Livorno, 02-18-2008” are not working.
Here is the link to my review:
Delphis Models: MMI Andrea Doria fregata classe Orizzonte (1/700)
It is in German, but I hope it is still useful for you. If you have questions, please ask.
@ enrr:
good, then I can use the AB 212.
what’s your opinion about Delphis Andrea Doria model?
I would recommend it. The overall shape and dimensions are correct, the details are good – except some small exceptions.
I have prepared a review for http://www.modellmarine.de and I will link it, if it will be published.
It includes Decals and PE?
There are not decals and PE included. The missing PE are not problem, because they are only necessary for the rails and for those there are all lot of sets available. The missing decals are a bigger problem, because they are needed for the NATO number and the flight deck markings. Delphis offers a decal set, perhaps also other can be used.
How many TESEO launchers are included in Delphis Andrea Doria model?
There are four single launchers included, which look similar to the older Otomat Mk 1/Mk 2 Block 1 rectangular model.
Is this the correct model:

Nice Photos!
Probably NH-90 for Doria and Bergamini (Fremm).
The biggest EH-101 are for the 2 aircraft carrier (Garibaldi and the new Cavour).
I am only asking, because I got the new 1/700 kit of the Andrea Doria by Delphis Models and this includes only a Augusta-Bell AB 212 ASW.
There was also perhaps an additional problem: how many TESEO launchers Andrea Doria have? And how are they shaped? Round or square? Does the launchers arranges as quads, two launchers above two? If not there would not be enough space for eight launchers, but only for four.
Is there already known which helicopter Andrea Doria will embark? Is the EH-101 and the NH-90 in service with the Italian Navy?
I find it interesting that this class of ship has a small length to beam (L/B) ratio. Previous classes of warships had around a 10:1 L/B, this ship has a 7.51:1 ratio. Similar to the USS Burke Class DDG with a L/B of 7.65:1. Previous classes of DDG’s (USS Spruance) had a L/B of 10.24:1.
Adrian
A lot of the recent warship designs has also a small length to be beam ratio. E.g. Udaloy class, the Dutch LCF, Álavaro de Bazán class ….
Perhaps Jonesy is right and the lessons of the top heavy ships as the Ticonderoga class was learned.
But perhaps also this is an attempt to improve seakeeping.
