IN C&C Generals there are J-10s…I think. Sorta looks lik the Mig-1.44 sort of.

Engines and electronics are China’s biggest road block to self reliance. They seem to be able to make almost everything by themselves except for those two things. Although I heard the WZ-10/ WZ-10A will be coming out soon or is already out.

I couldn’t agree with you all. China seems pleased with the J-10. If China is really cloning the F-16 then it will probably be obsolete when it comes out. I heard about the Chinese Su-32/34…is that true?

China wouldn’t be interested in the TU-22M3 if they don’t include the newest cruise missiles.Wow….Russia rebuffing India’s request is pretty amazing since they are offering it to China, since India and Russia care all cozy and all. All in all, I think China should spend more money on Su-30MKK1/2/3/.

Does India have any indigenous subs??? Sorry, I don’t know much about the Indian Navy.

Hey Brute Gorilla, you posted this thing on PakDef too. I think the general response was something about why would China start mass producing an airplane if it had severe problems in it? And China has pumped alot of moolah into Chengdu and wants a quality aircraft in return. In general, I agree with them but there still might be a few bugs in the J-10A but only small ones which can be worked out later.

As said before by someone else…what are the escorts that will protect the Gorshkov(sp)…will they be sufficient enough to protect from an assualting force?

Is it just me or is the X-32 really really bad looking…THe new stealth fighter in the article looks good though..kinda like a J-10..Flanker mix.

What are the chances of the PLAAF going for the Su-34?? Or is the Jh-7A and Su-30MKK1/2/3/ there so the PLAAF dont need it.Also, PLA Wolf, are you sure that China is still making H-6’s? Has anyone heard anything about resolving the Harpy issue? Has Israel given back the Harpy’s?? Anyone??

What about the Chinese 2208 FAC. That looks pretty stealthy. Although not much is known about it’s performance, I think China is planning to build a couple more of these. I think two more are being built.

It’s all about money. The EU knows that if they don’t sell weapons now to China, they might never get the same chance. Either way, China will be a military powerhouse…just depends on how long it will take.

Does China have a counter to the Brahmos? I think I read about something called the HN-1 or HN-2, are they just as good as the Brahmos?
