Sure why not , I am Glad you asked that , LCA flight control system is in its * Entirety Designed & Developed in India * , and from where ever you have read it , Please make sure you inform them about the same.
I think the US did provide considerable help to India on this issue: http://pmdtc.org/docs/congnotices/108/CN093-04.pdf
I don’t think so. There was an article in Air International many years ago about the Pak.Army avaition and many L-19, Bell 47 and Alouette had this scheme.
Not really – some of the aircraft in PA supported similar looking camo (such as Bell 206 JetRanger II, Bell UH-IH etc.) but as far as I know the Birddog’s were always in jungle-green. BTW there are two additional pictures in this gallery and one at this link
Are you suggesting that this scheme is for show only and never used operationally?
As far as I know yes.
Thank you but that is where I got the original photo from and I even provided the exact same link in my original post!
Ok, I thought you had not seen that part of the website. Anyway there are no other pictures in that camo scheme if that is what you are looking for since in service all supported the overall jungle-green scheme.

here is the story to read. It is intresting to look into, how this “competition” was prepared by the PAF. A real competion? ๐
No word about superior F-6s. ๐ฎ
The “scoreboards” showed AG results only. :diablo:
Speaking of PAF F-6 vs ‘anything’, here is another interesting link of air combat between PAF F-6s and USAF F-15s (too bad no gun-camera shots): http://www.pakdef.info/pids/paf/shahbaz78.html
Anyone? (Thanks to Pakdef)
One of the French company proposal at IDEAS 2004 for the JF-17 avionics.
Here are few Mirages from Arab countries.
IPTN already delivered the planes to Pakistan? I believed that deliveries will be in 2005…again with the uncompleted list
Yes, first three have already been delivered and the last one (in VIP configuration) will also be delivered before this month ends.
USSR’s Marshal of Aviation, PS Khutakov’s visit to No.4 and 47 sqns at Adampur in Nov 1971. Which one of these pilots is most familiar?
Well I recognize S/L Denzil Keelor (65 war fame and later rose to become AM) and he of course is the elder brother of S/L Trevor Keelor. I think W/C P Singh is also there in the picture beside S/L Denzil Keelor? (could be wrong since he was flying bombers during the 65 war). Also notice three-four other faces that I know I have seen somewhere but canโt recall the names.
Hi,
PS: Very Very Recent 02 Months Back!
BS. The picture is taken from PakDef and belongs to Peter S and is 10 years old if not more.
Pictures anyone?
Try this: http://www.pakdef.info/pakmilitary/navy/gallery/lynx.html
Yes, three were delivered in total and the first two were inducted into Pakistan Navy service on 13 September 1994 and are operated by No. 222 Squadron.
Talking about Al Khalids- heres a pic of its ammo storage near the driver, pretty unsafe for the driver and the rest of the crew. The open containers ..
Pretty much like the old T72 clip arrangement. The driver sits right in front where rounds are likely to impact..
I think you mean gunner station and not driver station! That is not the driver station (as the picture is copyright of PakDef.info and we know what it shows:)) and you can not store rounds there (driver station) anyway because the driver has to get into the tank from a separate hatch in the front (you can not go to the driver seat from the commander or gunners station).
