Any article regarding the effectivness of this small UAV’s in uraban warfare
so far. I think it’s the first time it’s being used so there is nothing to compare it with.

I have read all the stories about how some Swiss enginneer working for Dassault has hotten the blueprints for the Israelis. Similarly their allies at Snecma got the engine plans.

    OR and just MAYBE

The embargo of the Mirage 5 was just red herring. Maybe the IAF did get their Mirage 5 from Dassault after all.

The Israeli mossasd set up a company to dispose of all the schematics from dassault in switzerland. They of course were transfered to the IAI.
The engine was taken from the US it think it was J-79 i’m not sure.
No Mirage or any french jet planes ever made it to Israel after that.
Even more intersting story is what happened with the Frigates Israel bought and how they snicked them out of Cherbourg.

To spy which nations? I doubt they are going after Irac now…

Well you see, thre is that Iranian nuclear bomb thing to take care of.
Since a strike is a question of when and not if and there will be a huge uproar
against Israel by the same countries that condemn the Osirak raid, Israel wil
only have one chance to take out as many nuclear installetions spread across
    Iran.

It’s a tragedy. However it’s not really surprizing in this part of the world.
I however wonder how killing hundred’s of kids will serve Checnia’s cause ?????

Never mind helping their cause, they just bought themselves a new enemy
for hundreads of years. I don’t think the Ocetians will ever forgive the chechens or other muslim groups in the area. I wont be surprised to hear
of vendetas and revenge attacks against chechens and muslims in the
    very near future..
P.S. Are the Russians going to attack the pensky gorge afinally?

I don’t think so Alex. It’s called sarcasm.
    kev35

Sarcasm it’s not. To claim that the Russians where not prepared and
seem to be losing their war on terror is good critizism which i believe Putin
admitts too. To claim the innocent sufffered bacause of the Russians
is really upseting and i’m no Russian. The blame for what happened is on
the sub humans that would force infants to drink their own urine and then shoot them in the back. Sadly in the days to come when this drama is no
longer on TV we will forget, the world will still be devided on how to deal with
isalmic terrorism and it will happen sooner then later to another country.

Oh, and Usual marvellous Russian rescue job once again. Its always the innocents who suffer.

Probably one of the dumbsest, cruelst things i ever heard. 😡

The only “people” in Britain who, apprarently, have the right to “freedom of speech” are those who preach “jihad” against the West and praise the 9/11 hijackers as “heroes” and “martyrs”. You say anything against thses individuals are you are labelled a “racist” “fascist” “nazi” and other offensive things. You can moderate this all you like, but you canot deny that what I am saying here is the TRUTH!

I find it very intresting that a Belgian has this view point. The Belgian governmnent and especially Louis Michel sees itself as very moralistic
and sees everything through the prism of human rights which is another way
of blaming the victims and rationalize terroist acts. I also belive that
the muslims community is 10% of the population and i don’t think they are
    ready to upset them.

RAF jets in dud gun fiasco

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004372854,00.html

    By GEORGE PASCOE-WATSON

RAF TYPHOON warplanes will be fitted with £90million worth of machine guns that can’t FIRE — to save money.

Mauser BK27 cannons were in the £43million jet’s original design but MoD chiefs axed them to cut costs.

That upset the plane’s ability to fly, so the guns are being refitted but not connected to the pilot’s trigger.

Disarming them will save a paltry £2.5million on the fleet of 232 jets.

Tory defence spokesman Gerald Howarth said: “It’s ridiculous. If the gun’s fitted we may as well use it.”

The decision will infuriate RAF top brass. Air Commodore Andrew Lambert said: “When dealing with terrorists or unpredictable situations you want the flexibility a gun gives.”

This is yet another fiasco in the Eurofighter project. It is already 20 years out of date and tests recently deemed the jets unsafe in clouds.

Looks like it got hot in the engine, the wing and tail’s hydraulic systems as well as some systems in the fuselage. With the amounts of oil and fuel in a jet fighter it’s must have een well design to sustain this kind of abuse.
