    My first visit to Leuchars also cant wait .Driving up Friday lunchtime .Main reason im going is to see Polish Mig 29 flying :D. 4hour drive up so hope its worth it

    I remember watching the threads film when it first aired in 1984 i think and then going to school following day and everyone talking about it.
    It was a very dramatic piece of film.
    I also remember watching the american film the day after and wasnt quite in the same league as threads.
    Also the protect and survive public information film really scared the living daylights out of me and still sends a chill through me when i watch vid clips of it on the net

    Yeah i noticed it earlier on the bbc site,Which reminded me of something i saw on tv last year about a newly opened hotel in berlin which was decorated and run like an old east german hotel etc found the link

    Pretty much new to this myself and intend on visiting Manchester Friday or Saturday this week ,Still not sure whether to goto the viewing Park or not the beer garden sounds a great spot so might head there 😉

    Visting Manchester for the first time on sunday whilst i wait on my wifes flight from ibiza due in about 1pm,But with todays events in glasgow wether i will get the chance

    Was on the roof of SQ head office in London and saw the A380 come in, very impressive cant wait to see it grace our skies.

    I know its not strictly to do with this thread but people on airliners are saying the A380 is rumoured to visit Manchester this saturday for runway and taxiway trials. Obviously take that with a pinch of salt! 🙂

    Oh no i have to work ..Is this likely to happen think i might have to throw a sicky and visit manchester just in case 😀
