Hi,

Has anyone been on a bmi F100 recently? I think you would know where I was coming from if you had.

I have been on a KLMuk Cityhopper F-100 and I found them to be a nice aircraft to fly in. I didn’t find the noise a problem but it was a bit worn from the inside (Was Built in 1989!). There was lots of legroom as well, KLMuk Cityhopper F-100’s are in a 2+3 seating configuration (Same as bmi).

Hi,

I understand the F100’s have been extremely unpopular back at LHR, but maybe the bmibaby passengers aren’t so fussy

No, Air Pacific do the maintenance.

From the Air Pacific website:

Air Pacific Engineering and Maintenance has been operating since the 1950s. Employing some 110 staff, it provides quality aircraft engineering for Air Pacific, Qantas, Air Vanuatu, Air Kiribati and Royal Tongan Airlines.

Being FJAR145 approved and ISO9002 accredited, Air Pacific Engineering and Maintenance totally maintains the B737-700/800 in house. In conjunction with Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Boeing, a check maintenance of the B747 and B767 is assumed in house.

Is Air Pacific supported by Qantas?

Yes, Air Pacific does some codeshare routes for Qantas.

Hi,

Air Pacific have a fairly small network operating 1 747-400. Before that they operated 747-200.
