funny you should say that, but my mum told me that my grandad used to tap it every morning without fail!

Obviously i’m not looking to get rid of this! but does it have any monetary value? Do i need to insure it seperatly? (before it goes back in the attic)

And i’d like to thank you all for the info! i would of been going around in circles still!!

The plate isnt covered in paint, its been rubbed/scraped purposely! which made me think it might of been stolen?

The prop has been stored in my Attic for about 12 years! it wasnt found up there. It was passed down to me (through family) from my Greatgrandfather!
