Superb. I don’t think it will work again its a bit more knackered than the pictures show but it would make a good pattern.

Its another part picked up on Stradishall, I suppose it could come from a crash landed aircraft?

Looks like 119S? , 1198 Not sure , so perhaps a Harvard?

Thank you both , it has given me enough to do some more searching. The panel (as far as I can remember ) was dug up by me in a dis used dump in Kedington , not far from Stradishall and not far from the crash site of a 186 Squadron Lancaster . That would fit for late war Bomber command. Kev

I just did some searches for images of GEE sets and have got a pretty good match for a LORAN set, were these only used in US aircraft or did we also use the system? Kev

From the internet searches ive done over last few days it seems 463 is in the right range of serials for Lancasters built and delivered at the time but the 29?. The numbers look to have been applied at the same time though . Kev

Cheers Pete .First is a 4 I think, It would be great to tie it down. My dad grew up not far from the end of one of the runways and his father was one of the men that layed the concrete. Kev

I think it’s 46329 . Probably 186 Squadron, you can see where it has had repairs in the past, Kev

Can anyone confirm or rule out late Mosquito , the design fits for tail mounted but not sure re 24 volt . Kev
