But the question remains:
When was she stored in Zimbabwe? 1966? What about her later appearances at different locations? (see post #2)
This might explain why XF519 was arround for sometime as it apparently did not go to Zimbabwe until 1984

I opened my GE, clicked the clock icon and switched to Aug 1950 –
great vintage map from the nearby city Dortmund or the old airfield of Duesseldorf – really fascinating!
I am sure I read a topic on here about the colored lights fitted to Lancaster bombers. I tried a search but came up blank. I am tryiing to find out about the dark blue light fitted to the rear fusealge below the rear turret.
