G-ANAF has just flown over. Did someone put in a special request for me? 🙂

The (think it was) BBMF Dak came low overhead Southam early Saturday morning which reminded me you don’t see much of the Atlantique Daks about these parts. Good to hear then that AMPY is flying again.

I’m currently flying with an AFT come Dak pilot in my taildragger (AS) 😎

Ah yes many a fine Moth arrived whilst I was bashing the circuit in the Maule at Leicester yesterday. Even Teichmann turned up later in the the PR14 Spitfire gaining adulation from the throng massed about his aeroplane (he might have even stroked his moustache but I didn’t see) 😉

One small safety tip for you chaps. Don’t take this a a whinge it’s just good common safety sense. If you’re walking past and in front of a parked aircraft with someone in the cockpit and the engine isn’t running, chances are I’m trying to start the engine. Keep further back from the metal spinny thing at the front – it hurts and I don’t want to hurt anyone accidentally.

Cowling also looks similar to a CAC Boomerang.

There’s a referrer thing going on that site that stops stuff being linked through other sites except it’s own fsnordic.net.

Grendel, can you post the link to the forum topic please?

What size wheels you got then? We’re on 8x6s.

In general just a bit worried you’re re-inventing the wheel! Have you looked at other aircraft brake systems?

I know of a company that does electric braking 😉

The C and D subtype of the 250 have different power rating I think. Your best bet is to speak to someone at Rolls Royce and work with them.

Melvcock, how easy would it be to say adapt the Cub Cleveland disk brake mod onto your conveyance?
