What you describe about the JF pack is typical imo of all their FS add-ons. Their ethos is a bit like “never mind the quality, feel the width”. Were you expecting any more of them than usual?
My aforementioned Silver AN-2 LY-BIG lives outside at Tatenhill
Ah Emmy. Such neat lines and a small yet brilliant machine. Have been up close to a local one (AXXC) plus my present FI owns an example.
How can you resist? 😮

Right at the moment I have a hankering for an Emeraude. I’m sure it will pass :~)
You can still post photos from other websites. Ladies and gentleman (I leave you guessing who the latter is 😉 ), presenting the aforementioned Stearman.

Ta-da!
Hours schmours! 🙂
Two people flying together get roughly the same experience for the cost of one. Gotta be worth it surely? I know as I did this a lot after passing my PPL following advice from the FLYER List and friedns of which Moggy was one who advocated this route this ideal. Fortunately my club encouraged this through their social calendar and I sit in on the pax seat with other kind pilots.
BTW, Dean as in Dashwood?
That’s still listed in a very recent flight guide I bought the other day. Next time I’m over Moggy’s way I’ll give them a call.
Back on topic, E Anglia has many, many unlicensed airfields. Just shame about the number of licensed ones!

PM each other
“Bombing” the Ruhr dams. Part of a squadron with many G-regs…
Now how does the 617 theme go again? 🙂
So both Swanton airfield sites are dead then?
182, yup. Same system in Canada too. It’s always Golf then four letters. Callsign abbreviation is G then the last two letters, i.e. G-FT. We can’t correctly abbreviate N regs over the radio for toffee here but the problem is mutual.
By the American airplane. One basis for choosing a type was availability of parts. Can’t get better than a type still in production (Moultrie GA).
Yakrider, glad you’re okay. You’ll be back – try not to stress abaht it!

I believe AN-2 LY-BIG is based at Baxterley nr Nuneaton. A possible. This is silver all over.
I know where the Twin Pin will land “off-piste”. Oh yes, one day 😉
