Hard-working long-term club aircraft aiui
Ah a RTW fan 🙂 I just conquered France, W Germany and N Italy as the Britons. Close run thing too in my aim to defeat the Gauls. The Roman Army betrayed me right at the last minute and Gerry was giving me a right good kicking with his big-pointy sticks.
Anyway ….
Nope, the aeroplane is a Robin HR200. I leanrt to fly on this.

Seafury, work on not using old software & updating drivers first before jumping into the potentially expensive (full of schiesters too) hardware route 😉

Always sad to see a wrecked aeroplane (first-hand experience here)
But perhaps something good may ultimately come of it in that LAC will replace the 152 with something newer and better?
Will, go on to yahoo groups and join “wingsoverwarwickshire”. You may get some good results there with this question.
I’ll take that flight any day HP! It’d make my year 🙂
Robin? A HAIR-y proposition! I’m not sure the good doctor Frank would want to get back into a DR400 group. Anyway we’re all happy with the Maule thanks.
Shame about having to lose the reg though 🙁
Hello hello, consultantcy needed? I maybe your man. Wonder how I saw this thread? 😉
Tried running only Windows-specific applications? Could be backwards-compatibility, e.g. running old DOS stuff. If so, read no further.
If you didn’t mention I would have said it sounds like hardware old bean. My bro gets this and it’s his graphics card I think though it could be something else for you, e.g. in order to likelihood CPU, mainboard, memory then hard disk.
Further in this case the only real-way to determine if it is Windows is to format and re-install a clean copy then don’t put any further patches or software on it. Leave it as basic as possible. Obviously don’t connect t’internet via broadband (assuming no physical firewall/router) or you’ll soon contract all the classic viruses of the past two years. Easiest way to do this is grab a spare hard drive and swap it around for testing purposes.
The upshot is if software=clean therefore stable, ergo hardware=faulty.
Just to think all those years of theortetical axiom and theorem computer science chaff at Uni didn’t go to waste 🙁
Pete, can I make it two in a row? I’ll keep my eye out for another classic. Gotta be something that blows yer frock up, right? 🙂
Neil
AIUI there are really tight requirements (enforced by Canada through whose airspace you corss) for these ferry flights of which fuel is one.
There can be only one above all others for sheer lack of effort. Any latter FARNBOROUGH airshow. Thank god it’s only every two years and we now can use our new-parent’s chalet@Flight Intl.

Commercial attendee.
I think the movement of aircraft is part of the appeal for me and makes me come back. I can remember what was where last time then ask what work has been done to X aircraft and where the hell such and such has got to. Duxford is a working museum. If everything was totally static, e.g. Hendon I wouldn’t bother coming back as much.
Texantomcat, I need to come see you at Sywell about Deterding some time!
Neil
Ah sanity. Thanks Martin 🙂
Likewise dusty or rotten?
“PA28 Archer G-BPAY landed long on the short runway (I think on the 29 or the 30th) and ended up in the field by the marquee. Took the undercarriage off and destroyed props etc – also looks like a write off.”
Hi,
Composition. I see you’ve roughly used the rule of thirds 🙂 Capturing two things in flight is a nice touch. Adds a bit to the action imo. Don’t stop the prop though! Use a slower shutter to blur. Would this also improve the light? You’rer almost shooting into sun so it’s a bit dark.
Subject material: shucks it’s a helo. Zzzzzz 😉
Many pros on here will know far greater than I. Oi, Damien where are you?!!!
Fab! Thanks.
The only serious contender I reckon in terms of manufacturing presence is Bombardier. The others are all small-scale engineering types. It’s one thing designing a product but another getting it to market. Just ask James Dyson.
