Build an upgrade yourself (I know Moggy does). There’s always some salvagable parts from your old system even if it’s only the case, monitor, CDROM and floppy drive. Usually can get something half decent for under £300.

FS2000? Don’t you need a supercomputer to run that? 😉

FS2004 has a lovely little J3 that comes supplied.

I flew in G-BIMM 2 years ago though thought Jo Mac’s FI style neigh so gut esp. compared to Chris S-R!

Yes I would trade “up” to a Super Cub 😎

BTW, Beagle shown in photos above has since been wrecked in the recent Summer storms (was kept at a strip local to me). Shame 🙁

Information third-hand from the pilots who dinged it:

“a ‘Crash Formation landing…flipped over. Port wheel caught cement drain culvert”

It’s a shame these old aircraft don’t get their fuel cheap (a tax rebate at least!) in order to keep our heritage flying. Surely HM Government aren’t that desparate for a few grand?

Well, it’s a rather large format now. Takes more page space than before to say the same thing. A bit peeving but I may succumb.

Anytime you need some help or advice, post something on the Student FLYER Forum:

You’ll get a better response there.

Wasn’t there but John my instructor (whose Dad iirc worked on the Vulcan development programme) said it did get out and ran it’s engines for a bit.

Which issue April/May? Page 45 correlates to UH Extras and someone looking like Moggy (but not) in the back seat with Mark.
