Feeling a bit deflated about this. It was the other half’s first time. The weather didn’t help. The atmosphere before the airshow started felt depressed and quiet so was it busier because of Fairford? We should have found a spot early to sit right in front of a barrier or FoDded and sat in their area. Instead because everyone was on their feet, we stood on our feet all day getting tired or herself sat down and missed the flying .
Red Lion at Whittlesford though did not disappoint. As we were driving down to the M11 junction a solo fighter ran down above the runway into the sun and broke away. Magic.
