Did this not occur last year?
Dragon, try using file names with no spaces for a start 😉 It also doesn’t help that you are using Microsoft Word to create your HTML 😀 Not doing so would create very clean code and so improve loading time.
Jack, do you have an illustration you can post of the final colour scheme?
Ren, I recall about 10 years ago when barrel prices went down to about 12-14 dollars. A chum working for Schlumberger got laid off as they were losing money. A high cost market attracts profits in this industry. Admittedly diesel if oft-said to be a cheaper product than petrol and given the economical benefits it brings (less CO2/km), should accordingly be taxed less.
I get about 70% better mpg than my previous petrol-driven car.

Old shape – x pence per litre gets added to the raw cost of the fuel in duty (rates are on hmrc.gov.uk).
Then VAT at 17.5% is added to this raw cost+duty. Yes folks, the Treasury apply tax on a tax. So even if you dispute that duty is a tax (what funny idea!) then VAT – a tax – is still applied.
Am glad fate forced my hand into a change of car and I went to diesel…

Been posted on here at least two times already 🙂
There is a thread going here if you want to discuss the RIAT/Legends date conflict.
Solo aeros – it has to be in a Jungmann. Or combined aeros, the Blades in their Extras. The Yakobats can be quite entertaining too. But I will fall asleep if I see Denny Dobson again!
Add the F-86 to the wishlist – that wing shape is simply stunning when disappearing upward.
Updating from an old thread
I have a friend with a budget of up to about £300 who is after a good scanner capable of taking 35mil slides.
What are the current market options? I’ve looked at the Epson V500 – any good?
Mark, you’re evil! PT visited EGBW today in PL965. He landed just before I departed, then departed just after I landed. We were treated to a fab takeoff, a Merlin gurgle downwind, then a dive away behind the trees only to be affronted side-on and low level to a growling, snarling big beastie that would make grown men jump up and down. The pull up and roll off the top was magic. If this sounds rather dramatic, then yes it is, but I only get to see Robins, Pipers and Cessnas every day.
There’s a certain stencil on that aeroplane I helped paint 🙂
Jag, why weren’t you impressed about me overflying Gaydon in a PA28? 😉
Actually i think RB must have been puffing so much from lifting two lardies with fuel on a warm spring day 🙂
Just been going through my old attachments. Here’s another photo
Pity I lost about half of my photo collection – I would have more to show.
Cat, I’ve posted these before, but I’m sure you will appreciate them again.

May 2002. Note too the old hangars and no fence – progress huh?
So yes the panel was black. Where’s the P-type compass gone? 😮
…But you’d end up with a 10 page thread here about directors messing about with old films and using bad CGI – “why can’t they leave it alone?” etc. 😉 😉
