Apparently CCTV-7 reported PLAN Type 037II [sic] Red Arrow [sic] Class large guided-missile boat #774 Lian Jiang and a civilian freighter (18,000 tons) collided at about 3 AM on 22 June 2006, near Gui Shan Island, Pearl River mouth area.
13 killed.
(Her namesake, Lian Jiang, is a city in Guang Dong province.)
