South Korea has failed in the bid to export its T-50 trainer jets to Singapore, a military official said Monday.
This is a second blow dealt to the nation’s goal to sell the aircrafts overseas.

During night of 22 June and before dawn on 23 June, first two of four E-2Ts took a hike by road from Xiao Gang AP to Kao Hsiung Port, and will be shipped on a Yang Ming Line freighter to USA, for upgrade to E-2K Hawkeye 2000 standard.
They previously flew from Ping Tung AB to Xiao Gang AP.

July 24, disassembled by Yamazaki Mazak Corporation, and stored for museum scheduled at factory, Mino Kamo City, five to six years later.
1955 to 1958, JASDF accepted about 180 T-6G intermediate trainers. 1978, Gifu AB donated #084.
Nursery sports ground became too small. 1980, placed on roof of two-storey building.
Yamazaki Mazak scheduled to receive another T-6G in better condition. #084 stored for spare parts.

Four crew wounded. Pilot (43, Major), co-pilot (31, First Lieutenant), and two mechanics (42, Staff Sergeant, and 25, Sergeant).
12:50, took off, at Takayuubaru JGSDF Base. Because bad weather and heavy rain, returning to base.

According to internal documents acquired by Nishi Nippon Shinbun [West Japan News], from 2008 January to 2009 November, JASDF F-2 and F-15 fighters had 65 times of T.F.O.A. [things falling off aircraft]. Only five times were announced to public.
Most were small parts. Bolts, nuts, etc.
Tsuiki AB: 13 times.
Chitose AB: 12 times.
Hyakuri AB: 11 times.
Nyuutabaru AB: nine times.

20:09, after training, after landing, on taxiway, brakes malfunctioned, and used emergency brakes. Left and right tires punctured, and stopped on taxiway.
Runway closed 48 minutes to clean and recover tire debris.
18:40, took off.
Two more JASDF F-15 landed at Kadena AB, Okinawa Prefecture.
Six civil flights delayed or diverted.
No person wounded.

“Our rescue team has discovered bodies of the two pilots and are recovering the wreckage scattered in the waters,” an official said.
The airmen were identified as veteran pilot Lt. Col PARK Jeong Woo, 42, and 1st Lt. JEONG Song Woong, 28.
Jeong was seated in the front and Park in the rear.

A squadron of F-4D Phantom fighter jets conducted its last flight Wednesday, ending its 41 years of service with the ROK Air Force.
A ceremony for the decommissioning of the aircraft was held at the 11th Fighter Wing in Daegu, about 300 kilometers south of Seoul.
Boeing-built F-15K Slam Eagle fighters will replace the older aircraft.
