I believe it was their first A380 delivered in September 2008 (VH-OQA) Nancy Bird Walton

Your spot on there steve.

It had it’s C Check in Germany on Sept 11 and had done 11 return trips since then.

Still no word on what caused it.

I don;t know, the 787 looks wierd to me.

The wings look very narrow and flimsy for some reason.

Great shots..where’d you take ’em from??

the first 2 were taken along foreshore drive nature reserve (eastern side of the airport, closest to 3rd runway)

the middle 6 from sheps mound under the control tower

and the last 2 from the fenceline at the beach.

The other question will be, who controls the ejections, you would want anyone going off too early !

Also consider the risk of a mid flight accident and the catastrophic decompression, hell you would not need the ejector seats then !!!!!

yeah Air Austral fly 2 – 3 times a week to Sydney, it is direct competition to YSSY – Noumea my Brother in law looks after in Qantas and i was also suprised that an E jet was in pac blue colours, may have been a flight to cook islands or something

Which is a suprise really given they were going to fly from Cardiff….I’d have thought there would be plenty of takers!! :dev2::diablo:

And yes i know it is not actually Qantas, but Jetstar is part of the Qantas group so as part of the extended family, i thought i would add it if thats ok….

nice one steve, i took Yananyi Dreaming to Queenstown NZ last year.

Wunalla Dreaming is the one that is elusive for me to get !!

I think us aussies should get special dispensation for extra photos on this subject :p
