i have found out what was happening, Hurricane Francias was over the Bahamas, therefore the pilot had to take a different route.
‘here comes the sun’, i remember that being played for the 3 hours we were sat on the tarmac last year with myt. The sun kept getting further away that day.
and metioning NAT tracks, TCX make a habit of tracking unusual ones (ref my flight)
well its certanly different
i quite enjoyed the caribean experience and will go again as soon as possible, not to cuba but to Mexico.
Then where do they land the planes?
they are in the process of sorting it out.
1 airport – not even built yet
2 hotels – with only TC guests
i agree with “danairboy” there aint nothing to do at cayo coco.
“lbarules”
lets get one thing straigh i am not rich, second if people dont want to pay them why do they expect higher service levels.
well lets put it this way
they dont book the premium cabin, they always come home and complain about the seat pitch, dont complain if you dont pay out the money.
it was because when i read down i see he tried to book the prem cabin, i still stand by my other comment.
i have just remembered something someone said to me ages ago
“first choice passengers wont get what they are expecting when they step onboard the new aircraft next year”
“thomas cook are considering upgrades”
My partner took me to Cayo Coco in January! What a dissapointment! I was bored stiff, the infrastructure is not what modern toursits expect these days. I spoke to lots of disgruntled guests and Thomas Cook, well despite being desperate to get home at any price, I would rather have gone back on an old Cubana Il62 than those cramped A330s of Thomas Cook.
I was glad recently to hear that First Choice are improving the seat pitch on its long-haul aircraft. European charter airlines have operated 8 abreast A330s on long haul for years yet Thomas Cook and Monarch cram 9 abreast and on long flights its just not acceptable!!!
What a shame about the prem cabin its so good.
actually it would be ideal for thomas cook to send a A320 to condor, who wish to set up a low cost airline named thomas cook using a320 a/c, the aircraft are already painted just need re-reg.
someone did mention that infact more B757-300;s were coming to TCX from Condor.
first choice models can be bought using the order form on a previous post i made.
