i think we shouldnt forget that the likes of Virgin, Britannia, Thomas Cook, First Choice have all had similar delays due to the hurricane, i wouldnt complain because its their fault they booked a flight in the middle of the hurricane season. it does annoy me.
the weather was very bad over Manchester yesterday so maybe this was why!
i had heard something about this,
They are going to keep there B757-200’s and B767-300’s in service for many more years before investing in any new aircraft so they are going to refurbish them in the new enhanced B767 and B777 style interiors, with fold down tv’s on b752 and possible seat back systems in B763 (only possiblie)
quite a few charters affected by this
Travel City – Delayed
Thomas Cook – Delayed
Britannia – Delayed
My Travel – Delayed.
The earliest flight i can remember was on a Airtours A320, new at the time from Manchester, had been delivered two days previously, should have been an MD-83. A few flights with Airtours, Air 2000, Britannia and Flying Colours.
If you read through your confirmation details its all there
maybe if someone was drunk, but who is not going to know there flight number, i know the one i am travelling on next year.
DP47
ok i think thats a little harsh to say that
it is!
The only ones i can think of, are the BA shuttles, which use B, C i believe, could be wrong. otherwise first choice used to,
Thomas Cook – K/L
BY – A/B
yes it was going to be painted in full MYT colours but unfortunatly the money ran out after they put the MY on the tail
as regardes to the backlog a replacement plane was found for the other flights luckily, but there are still some delays
when you say you cant copyright colours, the design is still the same
wouldnt my travel own the rights to that livery and therefore no-one else can use it
i have just got my hands on a Thomas Cook B757-200 die cast model, first to get it from the US. Not bad, but i dont want it anymore.
