greekdude1 Yet another Euro airline for Skyteam. They need to start expanding elsewhere.

they are planning to expand in the middle east, there were talks that MEA will join in November, any news on that?

    Bmused55,
concerning BEY, as far as I know, both Runway and Terminal reconstruction ended in 2001 (and they had in mind ,actually it was a priority , to make the airport ready for big aircrafts). The airport officials (not me) are saying BEY is ready, I hope I’m not mistaken.
Gate 1 and 23 are huge by the way.
    Regards

Do their current load factors justify this? What do they send now?

    greekdude1,
it has been said (I’m not sure) that BEY is the 2nd most profitable route for Airfrance. They currently send a daily 777 to BEY, in summer season they will add a second flight on fridays on an A330 and a second flight on saturdays on a 747-400. Air France codeshares with MEA on this route, knowing that MEA has a double daily to CDG (on an A330 and an A321), so if you take both ME/AF flights, then you’ll have 23 flights per week.
I think putting an A380 on this route would be a wise step, knowing that demand is growing each year on this specific route.
    Regards.

    good point Holger Sens,
I like your way of analysing. People are way much more important than land, a land is useless without people.
it’s true,Lebanon should get planes as soon as possible( if not buying, at least leasing) at least to have an excuse if IDF/AF violates lebanese airspace.
And most important is the necessity of the Lebanese Armyon the border.

    kfadrat,
what kind of people are you? a palestinian? well…most probably, cause you are laghing (loooooool) when you saw those horrible pics 😡

Dani shamoon was KILLED BY SAMEER GA’GA’

no man, even his family (including his brother Dori)were saying later that it wasn’t Samir Geagea.

and you r in exile too, why leave you country if you love it soo much?.

I’m not in exile 😀 , hahaha,I always visit lebanon and i love my country so much (you said it), you think only people in exile have this opinion, well buddy you’re wrong, the majority share the same opinion of a free lebanon, that’s why you see each week demonstrations in beirut. The day when lebanon will be free again is not so far, judgement day is coming.
by the way do you think you know more than lebanese in their internal affairs? 😉

Ramzi Irani, a lebanese engineer, killed by syrian intelligence (Mukhabarat) for being patriotic, the pics: before (with his children) and after (killed in a horrible way)
Dany chamoun: killed with his family (in the pic) in his appartment, the syrians did it, not anybody else, his brother was quoted saying.
lebanese red cross (and many other civilians) killed brutaly,
    and so many others.
