The Typhoon’s domain is the high altitude supersonic arena. There it is superior to all aircraft except the F-22 (while nobody really knows). When it comes to turning in subsonic region (where you’ll find the corner velocity of most jets), they are all basically same league. But in that arena not much has happened since in the mid 1970ies the YF-16 set the mark. The Suchoi 35 might have some advantages in very low airspeed situations, but many features like the TVC are primarily there to compensate for the tremendous weight (compare OEW: YF-16 7, Gripen 7, F-16C 8, Rafale 11, Typhoon 12, F-15 13, F-35 14 (??), F-22 20, Suchoi 35 20).
Some people might notice the connection between weight and TVC.
Larger radar = earlier detection? Yes, for the Su-35. If you think that the Su-35 lighting up first is bad, then consider ECM. Light up radar, engage ECM to counter. Larger radar will also mean somewhat more power to burn through enemy ECM also. And either way, if you light up first and engage the target first, you basically win. Shot-down or mission abort for the enemy is synonymous in the real world.
You’ll see that if modern air forces clash (if that ever happens), radars – especially conventional ones – will stay mute most of the time as they don’t make much difference against stealthy targets anyway and give away the position too quickly. Radars will only be used if circumstances garantuee success.
But stick to your “more is always more”. More fuel, more fuel consumption, larger engine, more weight, larger radar, larger radar signature. It must be a tough lesson for Suchoi to learn that you can have similar/better performance from a 40% smaller (in terms of weight) aircraft.

A good Typhoon pilot will enter and exit an engagement with the Mach needle above 1. Something neither the Rafale nor the Suchoi 35 can realistically do.

You must know that the variables becomes constants in Soviet Russia. In order to have physics still work the constants need to be variable. This Russians way of doing things. constant improvement of existing stuff. About S-400 they mentioned it is two to 4 times more effective. So if S-300P is alteast 300KM. So there shouldnt be any surprize with 600 to 1200km for S-400.

As has been mentioned, the word effective is not synonomous with range. All it means is that under the same conditions, the likelihood of a kill has been increased. This may be for any number of reasons.
The equipment in the inventory is so fearful of Mr Putin that it dutifully updates itself.

20t OEW, the heaviest fighter of modern history and completely oversized for most missions. Especially for dogfight unsuitable as largest target in the sky.
just because the EF doesn’t do stunts doesn’t mean it’s inferior.
The interesting maneuvering takes place at speeds in excess of M0.8. The Eurofighter can sustain high turn rates at transonic and supersonic speed, something only matched by the F-22. Low speed turning is maybe better in a Suchoi 35, but that feature is rather an insult than a bonus for a modern combat aircraft.

Or killing the other fighter way before you can see the white of the eye of the pilot. That is what F-22 and F-35 are designed for.
Being superior in a dogfight is one thing, but getting there in the first place is another issue.
By the way: the Eurofighter is even better in all terms of performance than the Suchoi 35, and different to that aircraft was tested against the F-22. Results are classified I guess, but so much is known: when it gets to knife fight the advantages of EM-stealth are gone.
