Does anyone have any good shots of Dove VH-ABK’s nose at the museum?
Hi Moggy,
I echo all the sentiments stated above.
I hope you dont have a flight sim at home, AAIB might find that suspicous!
get airbourne again soon.

No skin off my nose and I apologize if I have come across as bit harsh Dan. I’m glad to see that someone remembers the mock up still exists.
Sorry guys i was away on the weekend and forgot my charger so could not get on the net.
No probs Avro, my bad, never read the rules properly.
Ok guy’s,
you will probably get this fairly quickly, we are looking at the Jet not the Red lighty
:)Thank you Dan !
One built, although production is also claimed as 2 (!?)
I remember there was a partially completed 4 seater that i believe was repo’d by the bank and scrapped so that might have been #1. there was a lot of stuff including the Black and Gold 2 seat Mamba 1 that was “sprited away” before the debt collectors arrived. I last time i saw Mamba it was at a Tafe College in melbourne.

Hi Dan 🙂
I vote for the AA-2 VH-FCX (Mamba) which I have seen as AA-2, AA-2M and AA-2S.
Would you know the CORRECT designation and manufacturer (again different names such as Melbourne Aircraft Corporation, Aviation Industries of Australia, Australian Aircraft Industries, Australian Industrial Corporatoon).
Thank you!
spot on wout,
pic by George Trussell can be found here http://www.abpic.co.uk/search.php?q=Australian Aircraft Industries AA-2S Mamba 1&u=type
as for its official name best get it contact with Jess Smith as he is the man that designed and built it, only details of the regosearch site states
Aircraft Type
Manufacturer: AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION
Model: AA-2
Serial: P-002

Hi Guy’s,
I have just about located every Dove/Devon in Australia but one still alludes me, it is C/N:4404 ex NZ1818 & Vh-CJY, moved from WA to the international airliner museum in Vic with the prototype Heron, when the owner of the museum passed away the airframes were put up for sale, the heron went to AARG at Moorabin but no one can recall where the Dove went. PM if you have any leads

thank you in advance,
