It’s absolutely right!;) Flew with United Airlines, but the Museum won’t put it back in United’s colours, despite all the volunteers willing to do it!:(

The Dragon was restored several years ago like this and they have no intention of putting the engines back on it properly! So, it is not ‘under restoration’, or perhaps ‘permanently under restoration’. Apparently they left them like that to show the construction!!

This is an official RAE Bedford photo that was published in my book, “Testing Colours” published by Airlife. It is out of print but you can still find copies at air shows or on Amazon.

Ah, the joys of being born-again-single! If I went, I would have to pull a Flanker on my wife….and that’s difficult to do as she’s Russian! 😉

    Albatrosses in Europe

Someone call my name?:o Bill da Silva has friends in Scotland and regularly brings his Albatross over from the States. It was at Southampton’s Seawings in June 2000, at Biggin Hill in June 2002 and at the Coventry Air Show last year – so pretty regular!
    Reg is N7025N/141262 in U. S.Navy colours – a beaut!;)

    Raising the final funds

If you can sort the security out with BAA and BA, suggest fence off an area round the Trident, and organise a ‘Trident photo day’ to raise funds. I for one would gladly pay £10 to take some photos and have a look inside. Anyone else interested?
