    Damien,

Are you really telling us that XX119 landed so fuel critical that it had to turn off early? Come on… I dont think so! (at least i hope not!)

1 hr 30 mins in a Jag at lowish level hurts the fuel (even at low speeds with the Herc filming). The boss would have been bingo….Especially as he took off with Total only………..

There was one big traffic jam behind……..

    A designers dream

I started on designing a scheme 6 months ago. The boss had another idea and I incorporated both ideas into one. It was a fight to get it approved and to get it painted.

    Thanks go to

the other magazine company that sponsored us (sorry, not a pitch)

Jaguar Cars through Dave, Joe and Gary (Joe especially for modding the design to incorprate the wings) for helping to paint it.

All the painters at Coningsby (Nige, Andy and all) who worked their guts out and now have to face the furture ripped of their jobs by what I would say is another unthought and unwise decision…..

6 months…. Jamie Hunters air to airs are stunning… Unfortunately we must wait for those….

I have been fortunate to have played a major part co-ordinating XX119 and XX725. Today was magic……..:D

    Tremblers 90th

Love the fin. Nice to see the Leuchars painters could do what 111 wanted as a mixture of “A” and “B” styles

Coningsby couldn’t get that one round their heads……. 😡

4300 hrs???? Hardly new……. Never knew you were an airframe hours spotter!!!:diablo: :diablo:

    Not an AMF task really?????

    XZ392 is a beautiful aeroplane.

Fleet average was getting to 6000……….

And then to the scrap yard, maybe one will end up in a museum if anyone thinks about asking for one quickly enough.

Check the websites for disposal of Jag Airframes ….. You will be surprized!!!

£7,500 for the frames the RAF binned last year!!

I hope these won’t all end up on the scrapheap, or hidden away in dark dank museums. I do hope that some of them will go into private hands – Can you imagine a Mr Meaner?

None of the last Jags are going to scrapheaps or private hands.

None of them are going to museums either…….

They ALL will be maintenance Airframes for the trainee GC of the RAF at DAEC Cosford!!!!!!;)

Overheard today at Coningsby. “Look it’s the Battle of Britain Lancaster – see it’s got B O B on the side.”

I was torn between a look of withering disdain or passing wind in their general direction. I leave my final decision to the reader’s discretion.

Well the was a few ladders against the fence today;) 😉

As I stated on the Goat, where they for the felines passing?????

The black GC flyingsuits and Marquees driving past BBMF gave the game away.

The Village Idiot will also be out (and there are a few around Boston parts as our guys have found out since being there!!!)

Saw myself in the Lanc slot on News 24…… blob standing by the eng building of Echo!!!!:dev2: :dev2:
