Hi,
I have two questions related to the F-15I Ra’am variant:
1) How many Popeye missiles can it carry?
2) What would be the range (approximate) with two AMRAAMs, two Python IV AAMs and (say) 2 Popeyes (if it can carry two), plus all internal fuel possible with this loadout?
Regards,
Rudnei
Hi guys, any info on this drop tank?
Cheers
Hi,
No, it isn’t the 75 gal drop tank, hence my question. If you look closely, looks like such a tank has been cut in half and a new section welded between the two halves.
This other photo from a Brazilian P-47D in Italy should show it better.
Thanks again in advance for any help.

This was the old tactical camouflage used by the Brazilian AF. Initially it was USAF SE Asia scheme:FS 34102 (lt green), 34079 (dk green), 30219 (tan) and 36622 (undersides).
Then between 1980-2000 FS 34079 was replaced by 34086 (grey-green).
Finally, after a series of trials carried out within the Brazilian AMX fleet in 2000-2001, the new tactical camouflage with FS 34092 and 36176 (green and grey), wraparound, was introduced into service. The old camouflage schemes were mostly conspicuous when overflying Brazil’s large forest areas and therefore not suited.
The Mirage 2000Cs, however, never did have the new camo applied, and it seems will not have it, since they are due to be deactivated in 2015.

Brazilian Mirages
I thought you might like to see pictures of the Brazilian Mirage 2000Cs (aka F-2000C), they were taken recently by myself:

Hi,
No, they did specifically mention Norway, as well as The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.

Hi John,
I thought so as well, but I’ve seen references mentioning the RNoAF used it; but I haven’t seen any photos so far… perhaps just a few were used to train pilots in jet aircraft before moving onto the Vampire?

Many thanks Mike, but unfortunately that one is rather small and I can’t make out the motto (is in Greek I gather)…
