Having browsed the Star Alliance timetable for Winter 2006/2007, it appears that an A321-200 will layover at Dublin from Friday evening (BD135) to Sunday afternoon (BD126) so maybe it’s possible this aircraft will operate “W” charters from both Dublin and Manchester…unless of course they have an aircraft laying over at Manchester at weekends as well…
EDIT: It appears that it’ll actually be operating DUB-PLV-ORK-PLV-DUB. I’ll take a guess that the MAN flight will be operated by the “overnighting” A320…
Absolutely agree…Cote d’Azur is top of my list!
What if the aircraft was based in Moscow and operated DME-LHR-DME-LHR-DME? Taking into account the time difference I’d say the aircraft could leave Moscow early in the morning and arrive into Heathrow in time for the BD891. Similar situation with the return, leaving Heathrow after the arrival of the BD894. But this is still only a possibility if they announce a double daily service.
Oh I’m surprised there were that many. Any idea of schedules or flight numbers etc?
Yeh, they do plenty of them! Sure they even have an A320 based at Nottingham to operate an extensive weekly charter programme, but it’s the Dublin one from a couple of years back is what I’m interested in…
Also bmi have announced cancellations on the LHR-DUB route in July (http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-ie/travelinformation/dublincancellations.aspx) and have added an extra flight, BD137/138 on the 25th September. Anyone know why this has come about and any info regarding my first post aswell?
Thanks TJC!
That’s brilliant! Thanks Mark!
Superb shots!

They’re excellent! Try get some Aer Lingus and bmi ones going!
Cheers Andrew!
While on the topic of BHD, what gate(s) are used by bmi at Heathrow for their flights to “the City”?
That bmi/easyJet hybrid doesn’t look at all bad for some strange reason! In fact, I actually quite like it!
