Any info on other bmi charters this Summer?
The one on the IFSD website is outdated at the moment so I was in search of a more up to date version…
Great info lads, thanks very much!
So how many would Aer Lingus and Ryanair each base? Surely there isn’t sufficient airbridge-gates for 50 aircraft so which airlines would be remote-parked and on which stands?
Just out of curiosity, has British Midland operated the A320 or A321 out of East Midlands in the past and if so, on what routes?
Two incidents a day apart! From a maintenance point of view, Id surely say they’re glad to get rid of them! They are fairly old though by now…
The A320 must have been G-MIDZ as its the only one painted in the old livery…
Any details on which aircraft of the fleet it was? Did they use another in-fleet aircraft to takeover the remaining flights or had another been chartered in?
Well the A321s are going strong in DUB with no other aircraft scheduled to operate on the route for the next month or so. bmi currently overnight 2 A321s in DUB every friday night.
That’s good to know that the Dublin route is still going strong…
I’m just wondering whether the Phoenix A330/A340 Professional is worth buying? And how come none of the freeware A330’s are painted without the “british midland” titles above the large “bmi” logo on the forward of the aircraft as in real life?
No A330 I dont work for bmi, unfortunately! They’re just my preferred airline! 😉
Last year a MYT A320 operated that roster but I cant recall a bmi A321 operating it…
As far as I know, bmi havnt operated charters at DUB for many years…
Cheers A330!
DE is joining Monarch in April
If Delta Echo is going aswell, that only leaves five aircraft. That’s not enough to operate three routes with two A321s each. What are the chances of the remaining aircraft being used on routes to Continental Europe?
One from me, flying DUS-MAN, as British92B!
Flying over a “green” Holland
An unbelieveably realistically-looking shot!
