Here is a cross-section drawing of Bristol exhaust collector ring. You can see why the front edge didn’t discolour.

Nice!

Some of the pictures I took way back in 1986, when Airspray had the A-26’s based at our local airport, up here in Fort McMurray.

These are Rebecca aerials. Information from Terry Higgins of Aviaeology fame.
They’ve been having some issues with spammers this past week so hang in there. I know they’re working on it.

Please disregard my posting above. I was reading and typing too fast and did not properly understand what had been posted. Old age is great, ain’t it.
The editing feature doesn’t seem to be functioning properly.
Fleet16b, when I first read your posting #5, I thought it was a reply from Halibag, in response to a PM I had sent to him. I would like to get a copy of the Delta in his original post.
Chris
Oops! My bad. I thought it might have been in response to my PM to you.
Chris
I just checked, but there is no message. Could you try again?

I recently acquired a copy of a photo showing this same Delta. A friend from school had posted it on Facebook. It is from a collection of her father’s photos he took while in the RCAF during WW2. He was an engine mechanic and was posted to a training base on the Canadian prairies. His name is Les Corkum. He was featured in an article in the hometown paper a few years ago, about his time in the RCAF.

It is a honour to assist someone as famous in the modelling world as you, John. I’m quite chuffed.
Chris
John, at the bottom of this page are some photos showing the Wapiti canopy.
