Nice shots mate. Just out of interest, at what time was the Jet2 146 photo taken?
Thanks
Interesting. Any chance of them doing the Murcia or will that remain a B733?

I’ve now heard the B757 will be occasionally used on flights when more tickets have been sold than will fill a B737. So if you like it’s the same as the BAe 146 operating for the B737 on certain routes.
It just all depends on the loads….
When are they arriving and what routes will they be doing?
Cheers

We’ve got two more B757s which are due to join the fleet sometime towards the end of this month (AC and AD), so fingers crossed that’s when AA and AD will officially start operating from MAN. So far they’re only rumoured to be operating to ALC and PMI, but I reckon they’ll do a couple more routes than just those two….
Ah I see what you mean. I was referring to the summer flights, as that was what you were originally talking about.
Yeah 17-23 April the LS903/904 only operates on a Monday. It’s back to normal tomorrow though…
London Gatwick = Now operated by BAe 146 of Flightline.
Also New 1 X B757-200 Based Aircraft.
But the Manchester – Venice Marco Polo service has been dropped altogether along with 1 of the 3 times daily flights to Amsterdam, Gatwick and Edinburgh.
The 146 doesn’t fly the same route/s everyday. It’s doing a mixture of AMS, EDI, LGW, NCE and PSA flights.
We will eventually have two B757s based at MAN. So far they’re rumoured to be G-LSAA and AD.
Not sure where you’ve heard about LGW getting dropped down to two flights a day either. All three services to/from LGW will be operating this summer, apart from at the weekends and the on the odd Monday or two.
Incidentally I was assigned seat 6A recently flying back home and simulatenously another family member was assigned seat 6A flying ACE-BFS, freaky or what 😀
Nah, sounds more like the check-in staff just cocked-up 😉
it could be seen as real by the lessor inteleigent!
Exactly 😉
Just incase you and everyone else aren’t aware, it’s fake.
Once a plane becomes cargo it remains cargo.
Okay so what about Jet2’s B737’s that carry passengers during the day and cargo by night?
Improperly fitting parts? Myself and Tom were on a nice new FR 738 a few weeks ago and an overhead panel wasn’t quite fitted properly. In fact one corner of it sat outside its mountings quite impressively. Does that count?!
Paul
Nah, that’s just typical Ryanair maintenence for you 😉
The airfield normally takes aircraft upto the size of the B757, therefore all passengers are being flown back to LHR on three A320/321s whilst all baggage and cargo are being flown back on a chartered frieghter. The B744 will then fly out empty with minimum fuel and have to tech stop at a larger airfield to take on more fuel.
Good photos – I understand G-LSAC is back on the UK register!
Correct. She’s due to join the fleet at the end of this month and will be based at LBA.
It’s a toss between the L1011 and DC-10, either of them do it for me 😎
Also whats the situation with the 757 G-WJAN and 767 G-SJMC and the other 767 returning.
Returning?….
He didn’t, however, mention my name next to a certain JET2 733 photo of mine he used in a thread recently. People are not always all that happy about their work being used by other people HON 1R 🙂
Paul
If I’d have used the photo from a thread that was started 6 months ago then fair enough, but it was used from a thread which was created at the same time as the one in question.
It’s your own fault really. If you’re that miffed about it then I suggest you do something about it and start sticking a watermark on your work.
