We are all deeply impressed by your compassion for those “frustrated individuals” who feal compelled to burn American flags and blame the US for their problems.

To bad these same heros wouldn’t burn the flags of the countries that they ran away from in the first place which are the real reason for their frustration.

Maybe they would get more respect if they had the courage of their convictions and act out their frustrations where it would mean something rather than in the streets of some European capital in front of a crowd of leftists who pretend to give a ****.

The only reason your many little Korean friends are free to have an opinion on any subject is due to the fact that the U.S. saved their parents from the same fate as their brethren in the north. Remind them next time you get together.

We have all read your nonsense about this many times before and its just as unconvincing this time. If the 30 year SU-27(?) had won you would be singing it’s vitues. The first F-15Ks will be delivered next year and the last in 2008. The Typhoon and the Rafale may not have full multirole capabilty by then.

My comment was a general one not specifically aimed at you but you did use the term “shocking”. What I find shocking is the phony moral outrage of some here.

I have seen a number of US flags burned in France over the years by any number of jabbering popinjays shouting anti- US slogans. You would argue they have the right and they do and so would most Americans who normally just shrug it off. Your outrage over using the Tricolour as a prop at a WWF match isn’t believable.

Lets face it, if the WTC image was used in a Democratic ad, we wouldn’t be discussing it here.

Before they invest money they don’t have on another carrier (and another naval fighter) they should practice with the one they have now. 🙁

Oh my my! The inocent little woolly lambs are shocked are they.

As far as flag desecration is concerned, the US flag gets burned somewhere in the world everyday, sometimes in the US. Its not a crime. Even Bill Clinton’s wife thought it was the thing to do at one time.

Bolkcom’s point about the F-22 being forced to operate from forward bases suggests he has never heard of refueling tankers. Actually a 750 combat radius on external fuel only, sounds pretty reasonable.

I also find it odd that he feels that betting the future on some combination of as yet to be designed UAVs, the F-35 which is 10 years away and increased reliance on naval strike aviation (?) is a more secure option to the F-22 which is in the final stages of development.

His reference to the F-22 as a Cold War design is plain stupid as is his willingness to ignore the certainty of more capable threats to the USAF in the future.

I agree, Eurofighter is missing a great opportunity to demonstrate the Typhoon at Asian Aerospace 2004 which is in all places— Singapore!

It will have to do better come the April fly-off, CFTs and all.

It seems to me that I read that Boeing has made arrangements to have two of the F-15E’s in Singapore until then.

The Hubble is parked in a much higher orbit than the ISS.
