So Ahmadinejad is simply the most popular of the approved presidential candidates in a cooked election controlled by the Mullahs. All those elected are likewise chosen.

The fact that so many Mexicans have to go to the U.S. to earn their daily bread and send most of it back home to their families suggests that the Mexican government has failed it’s prime responsibility. Money spent on Flankers they don’t even need will simply deprive Mexican poor (not the middle class) of needed services. Perhaps the government wants them to deal with the rebels in the south.

The UN will never take serious military action in Sudan without major U.S involvement because if it fails they will not be able to blame the U.S. 😉

On a more serious note, why should the Migs be a U.S. problem? Are the major African and European players not strong enough to take on a few Mig29s? What about all the fancy talk on this forum about the capabilities of the Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen?

Of course as others have stated, no one seems to care enough and there is no willing leader like GWB to rally around.

I believe right wingers are smarter than those on the left. Now as the American left is much closer to the centre that the European left, it suggests to me that about half of current U.S. leaders should be classed as dull in contrast to European leaders most of whom are “stupid”.;)
