    Ah, those bad nasty Jews. They are such an convenience. Why didn’t they just submit to being killed off by the Germans? Why couldn’t the survivours simply lets themselves be murdered by the Arabs. They could have been allowed a a decent period of resistance before they surendered to the next holocaust. The Arabs could then be blaming someone else for their problems.

    What is the likeyhood that the SH is going to face a SU-30? I am sure there are any number of possible scenarios where you could speculate on the outcome of encounter between a SH and another fighter and the SH would win it’s share of them, but how many of them are likely to occur in the real world?

    It’s my guess that you would have to stack the deck to defeat the SH in most likey scenarios. Personally I think the USN is a better judge of the jet than anyone here.

    Tom Cat nostalga is alive and well I see. This continual whining has been going on for about three years. Get over it. The Super Hornet is taking over the F-14’s deck space.

    The USN is happy with its performance. We haven’t heard about any serious operational issues or faliures and the capabilties of the jet are still increasing.

    There is virtually no competion out there that it cannot handle given that the US isn’t going to war with France, Russia, China or India. USN Hornets will be able to deal effectively with any likely enemy. No aircraft ever flown by the USN was perfect, not even the Tomcat.

    I am not sure there have ever been any “glory days” for the Russians. Certainly not during the USSR era unless one views living in economic failure run by a vicious dictatorship a good thing. I do agree the Russian people are a hardy and strong people and deserve better leadership than they a getting from the current government.

    Well like Vortex said, if there is oil involved the US must be there stealing it all. :confused:

    If the US is involved in Russian oil production, they must be stealing it so there is no chance that any tax money could find its way into the Russian economy and therefore no chance that any of that money could be used by Russia to fight AIDS or help the mentally ill or orphans or even put some medicines in Russian hospitals. Oh I just remembered…. the $15 billion that the US has allocated to fighting AIDS in Africa must have been stollen from someone???

    Now you know very well from your stops in Happy Valley that its only us evil Canadians who have the right to club baby seals. Sometimes we don’t even bother with the club, we just skin them alive. They make great boot liners.

    Most if not all military programs fall behind schedule and come in over budget. Is this really a big shock to anyone except to the odd reporter?
