Sorry to hear that Geforce but I believe some progress is being made as far as treatment is concerned. In my part of NA the disease is spread through ticks which originally come from infected deer (and mice I believe) which can then get on humans who pass through an infected area.

Well I can only speak for myself on this issue but it ‘takes two to tango’ and I have seen many anti American comments on this forum from the very beginning. Many non Americans here seem to be able to dish it out but can’t take it. I am not surprised that Americans strke back. Juvenile remarks either way don’t help , I agree.
What bothers me the most about many of the comments made about the US and Americans, are that many of them are at odds
with reality. That the US is not demotratic and so forth. Comments about US motives which simply don’t add up or are not supported by history. Snide remarks about it’s political processes and structures which are none of the rest of the worlds business quite frankly. I don’t see Americans questioning British politics.

Personally I am with the current US administration on this issue and to date I have heard nothing from those who oppose it other than a lot of selfserving talk and moral posturing.

Arthur is still looking in his ‘Communism for Dummies’ handbook for the section which explains why US free enterprise dosn’t work.

Predictable responses so far.
I for one am hoping that the current level of termoil in Iraq settles down ASAP. Given the events of the last three weeks and particularly the last 48 hrs I am not surprised at what is taking place. Lets hope that once most elements of Saddam’s regime are sacked, people will turn to more productive persuits.

You can’t have it both ways. In one breath you are saying that the reporters are better qualified that the US troops to determine what was going on there and in the next you are saying that their training should rule out any error.
The fact is none of us know the truth of the matter but its obvious you are determined to blame the US for any and all unfortunate events.
