Just had a quick look on G-INFO and the above mentioned Mr Earthy appears to have 3 registered to an address somewhere in France!

I met someone at an air show once who was involved in finding restoration projects for er…someone who’s name escapes me(sorry!) And he told me that Arnold scrapped several Indian Tempests that he had bought to increase the value of a couple he had saved. I never saw this reported anywhere else and have no idea if it’s true, unfortunately.

Didn’t Retro Track and Air make some new ones for the recent Spitfire Mk1s? Might be worth a try! Good luck

Not so strange, Sabrejet. There’s not much alternative to an aeroplane’s wings, but a wooden prop can potentially save an engine!

Apparently you can’t feather the prop on a Mustang. I just found an old thread on it.
