Amazing job! Thought it would take at least a few months!
Omg! That P-51 visit was 40 YEARS ago?? I’m glad I’m sitting down!
Thanks very much for the fascinating updates. And it’s great that u were distracted by a dog! My kind of people!?
Thank u, Old Spitty! I thought there must be quite a few vintage aircraft flying that they don’t have all the drawings for?
I read that Paul Allen’s team are offering a reward for Ju87 blue prints. Surely u can restore something without drawings, can’t u?
Such a shame. Thanks for the info, Brendan
Thanks, Mark!
Mark, are u able to tell which Spitfire restoration is likely to fly next?
Anyone know why this didn’t go ahead?
No Trouble, Sopwith!
Oxcart is that the Kennet ones?
One of them definitely is. But the other one is owned by Craig Charleston (who is usually associated with restoring ‘109s!) And I’m kind of assuming he’s restoring his own Seafire!
There are 2 ’46s being restored in Essex
Ruptured drop tank.
Of course! It just reminded me of when the vulcan ingested those silicon bags and I thought the worst!
Why all that fire? Does that suggest the engines were wrecked by some foreign object?
