I remember the ‘109 ‘Black 6’ having a wooden replacement prop fitted and shock loading was the reason given.
Surely it depends who’s involved. I think Steve (Spielberg) or Ron (Howard) Could make a decent fist of it!

In their latest (September) newsletter it says that they’re still having trouble setting up their workshops to enable them to carry on with the build. It doesn’t elaborate any further, unfortunately!
I remember Eric Brown saying that he landed a Storch on a ‘carrier lift and all they had to do was lower it into the hanger!
