I agree but who would dare to fly it?

Napier Sabre bolted to a Napier-Heston Racer
Dear Meddle, you must be the most curmudgeonly , testy, peevish, irritable, crabby and cantankerous contributor ever to grace this forum.
Where most see a creative and impressive homage to the Spit, you see a mutt, made to belittle the ‘real deal’ . I imagine you and a little ray of sunshine are seldom mistaken for each other. You could probably slam a revolving door ! 😉
I realise this has been a trying year for you, what with the disappointment of the Lanc duo failing to perform a personal flypast over your house, and no doubt 100 other things, so the best we can do is wish you a happy Christmas, and hope that 2015 won’t be such a kick in the sporran.
All the best.

Why did they stop running it?
Thanks for the update, Peter! Excellent work!!
Not many other people can say they’ve done that!

Since the demise of Aircraft Illustrated I find myself almost completely out of the loop on anything less than about 60 years old!
I hope they’ll be able to take passengers in Sally B.
Saw a pile in Tescos Hatfield yesterday
