Straying across an unmarked boundary isn’t breaking in. Even if you believe the Syrian version, the Turkish incursion was like wandering across a corner of an unfenced & unplanted field, not breaking in to a house. If Turkish tanks had driven through a border fence, that would be akin to breaking into a house – but that hasn’t happened.
Don’t you realise that you’re proving my point about the inability of Greeks to discuss Turkey rationally?
You probably haven’t noticed, between 1142 and 1147 according to the video posted by orko, the RF-4E flies over Syrian soil above the AAA (35.834567N,35.820365E) and the EW(?) (35.834567N,35.820365E) sites at Ras Al Basit.
So much for the unfenced field theory.
I wonder what would you classify as “breaking into a house”?

Regarding the Martlet IIIs that were diverted to the FAA since they did not arrive in Greece on time:

And what it probably looked like -as Steve correctly said- before being applied with the hybrid Desert-Blue cammo

Its not certain. Even if its true its not surprising. The most possible action would be to upgrade the S-300PMU1 into S-400, which was considered all along.

May 1956
…
While Powers’ class underwent training, a group of four Greek and one Polish pilot also came to Groom for familiarization in the U-2. The Greek pilots all washed out during training, and the Polish pilot was never allowed to fly the U-2.
Not all of the Greek pilots washed out, some have flown operational missions with the U-2…
I was talking about the Hellenic Army Aviation badge under the cockpit window… The roundel at the bottom one could argue that helps avoid friendly fire incidents… In any case during wartime there are orders for all hi viz markings to be painted over…
…to make targeting easier
Just how will the targeting be easier with a low viz dark badge painted in RAM paint??? Or was this an attempt to be funny???
@ Thephantomtwo, TR-903 was delivered to Greece in March 1969…
Anyone has photos or information about the camouflage scheme of S7+GM ?
As a last remark Greece is not %100 satisfied with Erieyes. I know this as they haven’t been fully accepted, and painted with greek colours.Am I wrong?
The Greek EMB-145Hs are right now being tested in all possible operational scenarios in order to verify that the system works as planned. It has nothing to do with “satisfaction” andcertainly with any “blind spots“…
They took part sucessfuly in NATOs Trial Spartan Hammer and their performance was above all excpectations, as was mentioned in the debriefing…
Its a matter of time before they are accepted and operational…
