Im moaning about the date not the show!
Im a big fan of Legends and this will be the first one that I have missed since they started, thats why im gutted about the clash of dates.
Oh and I think you will find its more than one or two as most aircraft magazines have made comments about this, and not very favourable ones at that!
Ultimatly it makes no difference as its the general public who brings in the money not enthusiasts

As I said I believe Legends has had the same date for years and that RIAT changed their dates so why should some people want the show organisers at Legends to change the dates????? for the Duxford show

Not even half way through Febuary and you arm chair experts are moaning about Legends get real people or at least get a life as far as I’m aware legends has been on the same date for years so why should they change and for the odd one or two who allways moan about shows and want some thing different Hey walk around with a smile on your face and say great, the show organisers have done a great job now that would be different and worth the entry fee alone. I reckon a few of you lot could moan for England

I would expect the test flights to be undertaken by somebody with experience on the Shuttleworth Gladiator, though whether that means an Old Warden pilot being contracted, or a TFC pilot doing a conversion to type at OW, I know not.

Bruce,
CAA would be hard but providing the FAA paperwork and stress analysis is up to speed then it would go through don’t forget there is a proper mod for this conversion in the USA.

I dont understand why people dont just move the windbreaks etc, they are not supposed to be there & if they want to complain when the likes of me untie them & throw them behind, let them. The only person they can complain to is me as no official will do anything about it as i remind him that part of his job is be to stop them being put up in the 1st place!

DONT stand for it, if they’re not there & it’s where you want to be then pull them away!

my god you are so tough talking from behind a computer screen and where just does it say you are not to use wind breaks? I know moaning is a national pastime but you lot abuse that priveledge my god thank goodness I don’t pay to go and watch airshows
