The people who usually moan about Duxford are the people who have moved up from places like London to a village next to an active airfield then all they do is bloody moan about planes flying. I wonder if thease same people when they are in their charter holliday jets climbing out above the houses etc at places like Luton and Gatwick etc think about the noise they are helping create for the people under the flight path. Probably not.
I wonder if the same people would moan about duxford if German tanks wer coming up the M11 No again probably not

I doubt, in fact I know the aircraft were not over the crowd at legends as if they were the airshow comittee and CAA monitor would have red carded the offending pilot.
I noticed on the Sunday at the side of the 505 there were some sickos with ultra long lenses pointing at the area of the crash site, now that was sick. also I wonder how many sickos were trying to see if they could see the crash site from the crowd line with the super long lenses.
Ant Harrington I suggest you get your eyesight tested, and if you enjoy going to airshows then innaccurate posts like yours could only harm the movement.

ageorge. in answer to your question no I’m not a previous user under a different name. I have also settled for a glass of strong Cider allthough it was a toss up between Cider, Bridge or the Two bottles of Glenfiddich.

Damien B yes as you put it every board gets them it’s a fact of life and no Digby and droptank are two different people. If we seem abrasive then thats your problem it’s probably because we don’t conform to the ideas of the old boys of this forum and have our own veiws on matters shame really as I thought people had a right to an opinion, abrasive or not.
Also snapper why dont we put shackles through your mainspar and hag you from the rafters.
Damien you said about abrasive comments and people then what about putting a Tf51 mustang on a poll or shackles through its’ mainspar as Snapper sugested, his opinion no doubt but could be construed as abrasive I rest my case I could go on and troll through other peoples posts and get some more but I can’t be
