To Snapper and Ant Harrington it sounds to me that you two need sticking on top of a pole and I don’t use vaselene and snapper your Media badce trick won’t so I am told won’t work in Hangar two again at Duxford:D 😀 😀 😀

I agree the TFC voluteers look as though they do a superb job and allways have done !!!!! I don’t think they are appreciated in what they do. Coffee sales have never been so high
Willow on another thread some one stated that forum members don’t ask stupid questions I would class your question a stupid one to say the least I would think that TFC rebuilds are only to fly what’s the point otherwise?
Yes it would be nice to get the Fury finished I suppose, but I should think that if we are patient we might see it fly before it resorts back to its’ natural state.
I wonder if there is any plans to start the Mk 22 yet.
Grayfly I heard something similar from an engineer that went I think like this ” If we were ment to fly we would have been born with wings and covered in feathers”
In fact it might have been the chap who is doing what looks like a first class job on the Sea Fury at TFC I think someone said his name was Dave Reader?
Grayfly I didn’t realise you were a pilot I must remember to bow and scrape etc if I meet you at the Legends show. I haven’t really spoke to many pilots before.
I do believe if Charlie Brown stopped walking suddenly then a major surgical procedure would be required ie where Charlie goes then so does Howard Cook so Scully if you want to know who Howard is then watch out for Charlie.
Mr Burke I am not wrong If you read my post I was posting in reply to Ant harrington and referance to TFC Beufighter as I was told that there are spares and components waiting for the TFC BEU but NOBODY to work on them. I am quite aware of how difficult it must be to find spares for any rebuild
Ant you are way off beam as a source has said it’s not a matter of spares and parts it’s manpower at this time and as I am sure you can figure out you can have all the parts etc in the world but without anyone to bolt them all together I rest my case
