Just think Mk V all those sad faces if it doesn’t make it I hope it does as it will be a lot better than the 4 engined version.
CLOUD CUCKOO LAND now I thought the project was at Bruntingthorpe? 😀
[QUOTE it does nobody anygood to voice them
And what ever happened to free speech?
Honestly you guys you are living in a dream world if you think that this project will fly in a year as for more reasons than one it allmost certainly won’t, reasons are expertise, manpower, time, money and the campaign against aviation (CAA) are to but name a few. Before people say well they have got BAE and Marshalls on board how many people there have got time on Vulcans and I don’t mean line or ramp work not many so sorry chaps in maybee 3 years you might be thinking of putting the first engine in
HAVE FUN CHAPS I AWAIT WITH BAITED BREATH
I believe that the tour/talk/sit down meal for Freinds of TFC was £18 just to cover costs sounded like a whole lot better value as pilots and engineers were on hand to show people around projects, cockpits etc. Join the friends and join the the team sounds good to me.
It’s only another Mustang, but there I suppose it’s a good stand in if we loose Janie again also Yak 11 will be happy in his still darkened room
Avros finest a real swinger into voodoo are we
For once in my life, I agree with DIGBY – Help.
You shouldn’t have looked into my eyes into my eyes
Well Robbo I might take you up on that if I can get to Duxford that weekend you know I might even learn something remotely connected to aviation ( though I doubt it ) 😀
I think “pans” is an appropriate word since that’s what that once mighty tin triangle is going to end up as – kitchenware! 😀
Best thing that could happen to it
Do I detect the merest wisp of a hint of sarcasm here Digby? 🙂
Nooooooooooooooo would I 😀
A forum meeting down the Red Lion now I bet that will be enthralling 🙂
Didn’t they swing the gear while it was up on jacks?
Of course they did FOOL
That’s guaranteed to push up the gate receipts.
This event is eagerly awaited. Hats off to Joe Kennedy for producing the benchmark for future Mustang restorations.
Rob
Sorry Robbo lots of people I believe did the rebuild not just Joe Kennedy A TEAM EFFORT NOT IN ANYWAY AN INDIVIDUAL ONE
Ah yes send the warbirds to Australia now why would we want to send them to the worlds biggest open air prison? have they been stealing sheep or something? 🙂
Have to agree with Avros finest on this one, People in the end (if not allready) will get fed up with being badgered and cajoled into doing something that they might not want to do or can’t do, other organisations are struggling to make the insurance premiums wether increased ones or not, I don’t hear many concerns about them only Sally B.
