Hi Pete, that gear train is so similar to the lion, Rowledge must have used the same idea ?

    Hi pp,

I understand that Dunlop used late merlin engine’s to drive tyre testing rig’s.

The quality of aero engine valvetrain part’s and the amount of time that ground running engine’s clock up I wouldn’t be too worried.

    Hi Pete, Minimans and all,

I didn’t know about the RR “H” pattern engine !, I honestly thought that RR left all the mad engine’s for Napier to build !

It look’s like that chap has some odd stuff.

I am working on the Lion as much as possible, I have a lot more I can do now the main assembly is done. next time you are passing.

Hi miniman, the 24 cylinder engine you are refering to was the vulture x-24 which was related to the peregrine.

    Hi nigelrob and all,

The Autosport feature on Chris Williams car is a great piece, Chris has been helping me all through my rebuild, without him it wouldn’t be possible for the engine to be in a condition to run and all of us to see and hear it in the near future.
