Wow, way to make a statement about yourself. Please allow me to pick myself up off the floor before answering your ideas individually.

    1. They should fix the Mig 29’s and get them in service, they are the best planes they have.

That may be true but as has been pointed out, where is the money going to come from? Serbia needs all of it’s armed forces upgraded not just one section. If you ask me, they should sell the Mig-29’s and use the cash for other projects.

    2. They should upgrade their transport fleet, they only have 1 An 26 which is not that good, they should have a minimum of 5.

I agree with this but like I just said, where is the money going to come from? IMHO I think Serbia should reconsider it’s entire fleet and look at alternative options. Retire the An-26 and get say C-212’s

    3. They should keep their MIG-21 fleet going because they just have to upgrade them plus buying new planes is expensive.

You fail to mention that no one is willing to sell anything to them untill certain people are handed over for trail. I know Serbs, I know they are a prideful people, but what is more important, national pride and keeping Heros who are wanted for waht ever reason or starving to death due to restrictions in trade? If they are innocent then they should have nothing to fear right?

    4. They should upgrade their helicopter fleet, more Mi-24’s, more Mi-8’s and they should at least consider buying Mi-6’s. They can carry almost 60 people which is great for war.

Firstly, Mi-17’s are the better choice there is no doubt there! Serbia should focus more on troop transports and forget about gunships, the days of fighting for land is over, no tanks are going to role into Serb territory and pick a fight!

Secondly, if you want to move that many troops around, one can only ask why? You adding the statement “They can carry almost 60 people which is great for war. only goes to show that war mongering is still rampant and this is why no one want to deal with Serbia. It is sad that Serbia feels it has to make war on everyone around it!

    5. Finally they should pump in more funds for the airforce and stop cutting funding.

It’s a global trend, what makes Serbia so different to the rest of the world? Every armed force is faced with budget cuts, you either rationalise and deal with it, or go broke trying to maintane the illusion that nothing has changed. If I were the Serb Leader, I would cut funds as well and channel them into more important things like rebuilding my countries infrastructure, rebuilding hospitals, building schools, things that are going to benifit the population and thus inturn generate a kick start to the ecconomy once again so that the good old days can live again.

If anything, I can only thank you for the pics you have provided, I see that you included the pic of the Mi-6 to use as an example of your dream, I wish you therefore good luck in your dream, out here in the real world, we will wait for Serbia to regain it’s sanity and reclaim it’s place in humanity.

Scores??? I’ve been playing this game for a few years now, back when I first joined up, you had a real score with comments from other posters about what they thought of you. They took that down because it was prooving too nasty! Still with me sitting on just over 5500 posts, I didn’t realise I had that much to say on things!

I did a bit of checking through my billions of books as well thinking it might have been a Curtis prototype or even a Serversky P-35 but the shap is all wrong, the P-35 had a very bulborus fusalage, same tail though.

Papa: Thanks my old friend, I will most definately have to visit England one day, my plan is that when the missus and I finally do marry (Yes we are living in sin), I want to take her to Walse for the honeymoon since she is Welsh.

James: Thanks for the help mate, I have seen pics of how big it is but untill you actually see it, you never really know, I remember seeing my first Catalina and thinking “gee, it’s smaller than I thought, but now we have one near my place with HARS (a group that I am going to join soon) I spoke with ,one of the pilots of their cat who did a leg flying it over from Portugal. We sat in side up the tail end and chatted for over an hour and I came to think that it was bigger than I thought. Can’t wait to see more exciting stuff, HARS has a Beaufighter in the works and that being my favourite plane of all time I am more determined to join now!!!

I’ll be there in Spirit sadly, I live too far away and assignments o England are very very rare for me. Please take some pics and post them so that we who are not able to get there can at least see the dedication.

I have lost too many friends in this past year, I will raise a glass at the same time but in my GMZ in honour.

Thanks JagRigger it sure does! I have always wondered about the ejection of the earlier Harrier models, they seem to have such small cockpits!

Does anyone have pics of the B-52 ejection system, I know that the H models have four seats on the top deck that fire up wards and two on the lower deck that shoot down!

In anycase people it seems my original question has been lost in all the ruckuss!

Would they agree to a price cap on the product, thus ensureing that the items are secured for service and also for export?
