    Evening all,

    I would like to trace any photographs of an event staged by 5 Squadron, the event took place at RAF Binbrook on the 3rd of August 1979 to mark the 25th anniversary of the first flight of the P.1 Lightning.

    Any pics of the event will be usefull but what I am particularly interested in is any shots of the four ship formation that took place that day.

    Any chance of it being made public.

    Not sure yet at the moment they were done for me but it depends on the skinners if they wish them to go public

    I just love this scheme always have done since i first saw it at Duxford in the 70’s so classy

    there’s a short film on the friends of the fighter collection blog site of the 78th fighter group at Duxford its in the older posts the quality is quite poor but it shows just how big the USAAF at Duxford during WW2 Nice high speed landing by J.D.LANDERS in BBD
